This year we aim at taking our project one step further by doing joint field studies. Our students always do field studies when they visit each other, but they have never done them together. We think there is something to be learnt from looking at your country, your life and traditions with new eyes – the eyes of a visitor. Reports, reflections and pod casts from the field adventures will be published here on Globeye.se. You will be able to follow each student individually and of course we welcome comments and questions or suggestions.
One week has already past. Since joint field studies is a new way to work we have used quite a great deal of trial and error methods. All students are working very well.
Tuesday morning and we have been visiting a nursery school for Sierra Leonean children . Small, very nice school with appr. 20 children.
As always, when the first week has passed, stomachs tend to live their own lives and our students are troubled. Yesterday we rested a bit, but today we are back in business again. Production during the day and joint field studies in the afternoon and then dancing in the early evening. This afternoon the Gambian students will interview the Swedish ones and tomorrow texts will hopefully be published to give you an idea of what it was about.
