Till alla Londonresenärer!
Här kommer det preliminära programmet från den engelske koordinatorn, John Noble:
As part of the visit we would like your pupils to give a short presentation to some of our classes about their country or area. They can work together on this or they can do individual presentations. Our pupils will then ask questions about the presentations. I hope this is acceptable to all.
When we have all the details about your pupils we will set up a Facebook page so that all pupils can go on line before the visit and get to know each other.
Here is a brief outline of the itinerary for the visit. I will publish the full itinerary when it has been finalised.
Wednesday 2nd March – arrivals, meeting host families and going home to them
Thursday 3rd March -
8.45 – 9.50 – whole school welcome assembly, reception with the Headteacher,
9.50 – 10.40 – tour of the school by 6th form students
Break
11.00 – 12.40 – your students will visit classes and give presentations to our pupils.
Lunch
13.40 – 15.20 – pupils from the partner countries will meet and decide on the questions to ask grandparents for the book. Teachers will use this time to meet and plan the next stage of the project.
15.30 – 16.30 – perhaps a game of baseball in the gym for the students so that they can all get to know each other. Then they go home to their host families.
Friday 4th March
All meet at school for the journey into London for a sightseeing visit. Then in the afternoon, the host pupils will meet up with you at a theatre for hopefully a musical in the West End. Then pupils will return home with their host families from the theatre.
Saturday 5th March
Pupils will stay with the host families and staff will meet in the evening for a farewell meal.
Sunday 6th March
Visitors leave London
